WARNING! My husband kicks me out of “his” kitchen (fine by me) because I have no culinary skills whatsoever. Martha Stewart, I am not.
So, when I tell you how easy it is to make this delicious collagen smoothie, you know I mean it. If I can do it, you can probably do it in half the time.
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 sliced banana
1 cup sliced or cubed pineapple
1 cup milk (soy, almond, fat free…whatever you prefer)
½ cup ice
1 tablespoon (or about 10 grams) of collagen powder
2 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
Blend the strawberries, banana, pineapple, ice and collagen powder. Add the milk a little at a time while you blend. If you want a different consistency, just add more milk or water as needed.
If you’re like me, you’ll sprinkle the cholocate chips on top and you’re ready to go! This is great in a thermal cup with a lid. Stays cold and tastes fantastic on the go!
XOXO
P.S. I steal my husband’s BlendJet, when he’s not looking, to make these. I love that it’s portable, a bit quieter than the others and blends really well.
